Our Mission & Vision

Our history

Red Hook Conservancy was founded as Friends of Red Hook Recreation Center in 2011 to support the interest and well-being of members of the Red Hook Recreation Center, and by extension, the facility itself. This work led to a widening of our aims, which now include conserving, protecting, and advocating for 16 parks, open and recreational spaces in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
